The service

SverigeStart provides guides, tools and AI-assisted explanations for people moving to or living in Sweden. Content is based on official Swedish sources but is provided for general information only — it is not legal, tax or financial advice. Rules and amounts change; always verify important matters with the responsible authority (Migrationsverket, Skatteverket, Försäkringskassan, etc.). AI-generated output can contain mistakes.

Free and Premium

The free tier includes all guides and tools plus limited AI usage. Premium is a subscription that removes AI limits and unlocks additional features. On the website, payment is handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record; refunds follow the Lemon Squeezy buyer terms. In the iOS app, payment is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store's In-App Purchase system; subscriptions, cancellations and refunds are managed in your Apple ID account settings and follow Apple's own terms. Either way, you can cancel anytime and Premium remains active until the end of the paid period — or contact us and we will help.

Camera, files and dictation

The app can read a document from your camera, your photo library or a file you select. These inputs are used only to produce the result you asked for. SverigeStart does not use your microphone; if you dictate using the microphone key on your keyboard, that is Apple's built-in feature and is governed by Apple's terms. See the Privacy Policy for how each input is handled.

Only submit documents and photos you are entitled to share — you are responsible for what you submit.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service unlawfully, attempt to disrupt it, or submit content you have no right to share. We may limit usage to prevent abuse (rate limits) and may suspend access used in violation of these terms.

Liability

SverigeStart brings information from many official Swedish sources together in one place, and we work to keep it up to date. Even so, rules, rates and amounts can change at any time, and we cannot guarantee that a page always matches the authority's latest wording. Always confirm anything important with the responsible authority before you act.

Our AI answers from official sources and is built to make an unfamiliar letter understandable in seconds. Treat it as a well-informed starting point rather than the final word: it cannot know your personal circumstances, and rules change.

We give general information, not professional advice on legal, tax, immigration or medical matters. The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for differences between this service and the official source, for decisions you take on the basis of information or AI answers here, for temporary unavailability, or for indirect damages. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes belong to the ordinary Swedish courts, unless mandatory consumer rules say otherwise.
